Tom Firsching perfect weekend – T.Q. and 1st.

A tight, slightly bumpy track tested both driver and car! CRC drivers sweep the top 4 spots! Defending champ Tom Firsching was tough as nails in 13.5 taking the TQ. spot and leading every lap in the main. CRC teammate Jeff Dayger, Andrew Knapp and Jared Bardin swept the top 4 positions with the new CRC ride.

All 4 drivers used the Black Art bodies and CRC 1/12th tires. Tom used a Powerpush enhanced CRC 37151 1s racing lipo with 3rd place Andrew Knapp also using the 37151 – 7500 1s low internal resistance battery from CRC.

Jeff Dayger took his WTF-1 DS car to yet another win. Over the last 5 years, the WTF-1 DS is by far the most winning F1 chassis in North America with multiple wins in Canada, Cleveland NYGP and Snowbirds. Jeff was T.Q. and won the A-main. Jeff’s Exalt powered ride was the car to beat in F1.

Jeremy D’Amico was ON FIRE. The fun, easy going racer from Ontario won every round of qualifying and led every lap of the A-main for a convincing National Championship victory. Like most of the field, Jeremy took his CRC World GT-R car to a trouble free, affordable victory. The class was well attended and continues to deliver the best bang for the buck in carpet racing. The chassis available are durable and affordable, the tires last forever and the cars look like vehicles you could own if you were lucky. A big thanks to all that continue to enjoy World GT-R!
