Team CRC adds another National Title!

This year’s ROAR Nationals were held at the HobbyTown Hobbyplex in Omaha, NE. This place is one top notch facility. They have a huge hobby shop, that has a super cool giant window overlooking the track area. The track also features CRC’s Fasttrak Racing Carpet as well.

was really on his game this week. He was qualified in the top 5 through Friday’s first 2 qualifiers. Saturday morning started with making it apparent that he was going to be a factor for the title when he captured the top qualifying spot in round 3. In round 4, had a bad first lap, crashing & crossing the loop last in his heat. He didn’t let it shake him though, and drove up through the field to take the lead and protect his TQ.

In the mains, held on through repeated attacks from the cars behind him. He had the spot they wanted, and they did everything they could to break his concentration. He was able to hold them off though, and made it to the stripe first in both A1 & A2 Mains.

CRC driver Mark Smyka also ran well in the triple A mains, finishing 3rd overall from a sixth place starting position in each main.
