CRC World Champion Parts and Tires

Calandra Racing Concepts products help the 2006 World Champion to victory…..

CRC products on cars 1+2

At the 2006 worlds in Colegno, Italy, many other teams chose Calandra Racing Concepts (CRC) products to help make their cars better and more competitive. Many non-CRC 1/12th cars at the event used a plethora of CRC items on their car to give them the best advantage on the track.

Simo and many of the Corally guys used CRC Pro-Cuts.A good percentage of the competitors used CRC’s Pro-Cut tires. Much of the Corally team, including the eventual World Champions, David Spashett, used the Pro-Cuts to help keep their car stuck to the track. Most of the Japanese teams were also spotted with CRC tires on their car. The unique design of the High-Roller tires and wheels, puts CRC at the forefront of 1/12th tire technology. In the end, David Spashett and Marc Rheinard stood on the podium with CRC Pro-Cuts on their car. World Champion tires…..

Also switching to Pro-Cuts was one of the fastest drivers in Italy, Atsushi Hara. Hara noticed the benefit of CRC’s Pro-Cuts in testing weeks before the event. Hara and his Hot Bodies teammate Surikarn Chaidajsuriya.Hara makes the switch to CRC tires for 12th and TC foam! Hara would make the A-final while Surikarn just missed the A-Final in the B.Q. position (11).

As for option front end parts, CRC has made many items recently to improve the ‘trusty but rusty’ Associated Strut front end. CRC’s machined Delrin parts as well as the machined aluminum upper arm mounts remove many of the molding issues now incorporated in the front end. As the leader in 1/12th items, CRC has stepped up the quality of the components.

DavidAnd, as with the tires, top level drivers know a good component when they see it. Many top drivers regardless of car brand, chose the full line of CRC option parts to help improve their cars performance. Associated, Corally, Hara, Laje and CEFX team drivers were spotted with CRC’s machined Delrin upper arm (#4275)and machined Delrin steering blocks (#4277). Many chose the aluminum 5 and 10 degree mounts as well.

The World Champion again turned to CRC to improve his front end. Pictured at the left is David’s Corally car equipped with many CRC option parts. Tire, upper arms, front end brace, aluminum arm mounts.. the World Champion chose CRC, so should you.

Congratulations David!
