CRC Kingpin Recall – January 10, 2011

We have heard some reports recently of kingpin failures on part numbers 3250 (12th scale) and 3228 (10th scale). After testing our last production batch, we have found some kingpins in this production run to fall below our stress test standards. Please refer to the picture below to identify the suspect kingpins.

While any part will fail relative to the impact it receives, we feel that the bending resistance and general strength of this pin is below our minimum standards and we will replace this version with our new super strong production batch (#2 above). Please send pins that fall into the description #3 above to;
