The CRC FZR has already proven itself a winner, dominating all the large offroad races in the northeast. CRC drivers Jeff Dayger, Tom Firsching, Chris Conway and the Calandra brothers (Mark and Frank) have put their FZR powered Sportwerks Mayhem cars in the A-main at all the large events in the Northeast. Dayger has won multiple events with the first production FZR engine available in the USA. Jeff?s FZR engine continues to produce high power, steady idle and consistent results after 10 gallons of fuel. The FZR uses standard plugs and accepts most every header including CRC?s Power Pipes.
For all you on road racers, the CRC Competition .21 On-road engine features an Chrome coated Aluminum Sleeve with an Aluminum piston (AAC). The aggressive porting and crank timing produce excellent mid to high range power perfect for regional and series races. The Competition engine uses a turbo/cone plug and accepts standard headers.
All CRC .21 + .28 engines feature SG cranks and slide carbs. All the engines use the standard mounting hole bolt pattern making them compatible with most any car. Unlike most of the other Italian Engines, the CRC engines are reasonably priced and quite affordable. Get top notch performance at a great price.
Also from Calandra Racing is a complete line of top quality racing glow plugs made in Italy for Team CRC. We have both Turbo (cone) and standard plugs available in numerous heat ranges. Normally, the CRC team uses #5 or #6 standard plugs for offroad and #6 or #7 plugs in on road. For cone plugs, we typically use #6 or #7 turbo plugs in competition engines running 20 ? 30% nitro. Retail prices shown, sold on the web store at competitive street pricing.
