Welcome to the new MetriCKs "Full Metal Jacket"!

Still the best and most affordable front end in pan car racing!

Proven on the original MetriCKs, the FMJ features CRC's Ultra-tune suspension. Just change the lower C/C plate (caster/camber plate) and your caster and camber are perfectly set. A "4 -1" plate gives you 4 degrees caster and -1 camber. Switch to the 5 -.5 plate and you have 5 caster and negative .5 degrees of camber. Go smash a bunch of barriers, and your caster + camber settings are still the same. We will have a plethora of different combinations available. And this is from Team CRC, so the price for optional C/C plates will be affordable. Throw your expensive setup gauge in the garbage, you wont need it.

With a simple and quick change of the C/C plate (caster/camber), you can set caster and camber with precision and ease. No setup station, no guessing, no fiddling. Perfect camber and caster is machined into the pieces.

Speaking of smashing into barriers, a new, flexible 3d printed bumper will help you bounce off the barriers mentioned above. The open design of the bumper increases front downforce.

We have 6 different front springs available for the car. Ranging from .4mm to .65mm, these springs made with precision from the best material available. The springs will mount over the CRC straight 5mm king pin and should fit other cars as well (A12 and Prodigy).

The Ultra-tune front end uses the durable 1/8 x 5/16 wheel bearings. These bearings are much stronger than the 3/16 x 5/16 bearing found on many other cars.

Like the all the MetriCKs 1/12th cars, the kit comes pre-drilled for the best servo in 1/12th scale racing, the Sanwa line of mini servos. The Sanwa is so good, all the other manufactures have "emulated" their design; Futaba, PowerHD and MKS all produce "Sanwa" clone servos. CRC stocks the original and still the best, Sanwa.

The FMJ car offers both mid or rear spring positions for the side roll springs. The car also features an easy to adjust rear center spring for preload, setting battery height and bump stiffness.

On the new FMJ and all new CRC car releases, ANY and ALL places where an M3 screw threads into carbon fiber, the material is "thread milled" from the factory. With thread milling, we are able to "adjust" and set the CNC machine for the type of thread fit we want. For a spring tweak screw, we keep the thread mill semi tight, to give the user a slight resistance so the tweak screws stay tight during a run. On other applications where the M3 screw is simply holding a part, the thread mill fit is more standard and accepts the screw just like a threaded metal piece.

Super easy spring, ride height and sag adjustment

The new FMJ features super easy battery height and droop adjustment. From the top, with a simple hex head, the center preload is adjusted to alter the amount the car "sags in" when race ready. From the bottom of chassis, a simple twist of a wrench on the limit set screw adjusts the "extension" or down travel of the car. Super easy to see and adjust.

Affordable and adjustable Ballast options

With the new 2026 and FMJ, we have given the user more tungsten weight placement options. Rather than "lock-in" the set tungsten positions, we have opened the battery plate to allow many tungsten weight options. With the MetriCKs design, the tungsten weights are below the battery, nearly on the race surface, not stacked on the chassis or on the battery plate. The weight is super low and because we use common tungsten, the ballast is VERY affordable. We have it available, but it is a common tungsten ballast available in many hobby stores, super affordable and easy to get. Keeping with the CRC tradition, high performance at a great price

You will also notice the new 3-piece upper tweak system and center spring bridge cross brace. This new tweak system has both mid and rear roll spring (side spring) options. The 3 piece tweak system uses an O-ring to keep the battery in place.

Full Aluminum Rotary Damper

The new aluminum rotational (rotary) dampers come stock on the Full Metal Jacket. These aluminum dampers are sealed with an O-ring keeping them neat and consistent.  These rotational dampers are super lightweight, very affordable and do a great job of damping the rear suspension, both side to side and up and down.

The dampers feature the aluminum damper arm that is very durable and locks to the rotor solidly. The rotor arm uses a countersunk screw to maximize clearance in in the tight area between the motor mount.

The damper features a large rotor diameter to allow a wide array of damping fluids, from light 5k all the way to 250K and beyond. Also shown in the picture above is the "screw-pin" dually used as the lower spring perch and the up-stop limit. The set screw in the battery plate adjusts against this screw pin to limit the up-travel.

The car features super strong, precision machined motor plates with a very low center of gravity. Two locking hubs clamp onto a lightweight differential axle which makes is less costly to switch to a differential. Just add a diff hub and bearing to affordably switch to a differential, perfect for the popular GT12R class.

Race proven, way less expensive than the other guys, made by people that race.... Winning tradition! Multiple IFMAR World Champions!

The new MetriCKs Full Metal Jacket dominated the 2025 U.S Indoor Champs with Andrew Knapp taking the T.Q and win in the 17.5 class. To prove the domination, Jeff Dayger finished second with his MetriCKs Full Metal Jacket!

Talk about domination.... in the debut of the Full Metal Jacket car from CRC, the team just plain whipped up on the competition with Morgan and Dayger going 1-2 in stock and Ollie Payne and Dayger going 1-3 in Super Stock. CRC tires, cars, batteries...  domination!
