Strong Results at the Japanese Nationals

Team CRC Japan A-Final Drivers: Yuuji Tokutome, Hayato Ishioka, Toshiki Kunitomo

We bring you this race report a bit late with our apologies to our Japanese friends.

The JMRCA National event was held on the asphalt surface at the Kawaba R/C Plaza in Gunma Prefecture in mid-October 2010. A beautiful and challenging asphalt racing surface greeted the highly competitive group of Japanese racers that included the 2-time World Champion Naoto Matsukura.

In the recent months, Team CRC Japan drivers have had great success winning the Milk Cup with Hayato Ishioka winning over the World Champion. All of the team was excited about the performance of the Gen-XL and were eagerly looking to be a part of the JMRCA National A-main. Each driver used the “CRC Package” consisting of the CRC Gen-XL car, the Advanced Black Diamond Speedcontrol and the Black Art body all available from CRC (www.teamcrc.com), CRC Japan (www.kimihiko-yano.net) and CRC Europe (www.hoeco.at).

After qualifying, 3 Team CRC Japan drivers made the A-final with Ishioka 5th, Kunimoto 7th and Tokutome in 10th. After 3 A-mail finals, the CRC Japan drivers placed very well with Kunitomo 4th, Ishioka 6th and Tokutome 10th. This marks the first A-final result for Team CRC Japan. Each year the team gets stronger with better results every year. The “CRC Package” performed very well.
