Calandra Racing Concepts takes the JMRCA Kanto Championships!

Team CRC Japan drivers 1-2

The CRC Generation X has captured Top Qualifier (TQ), and 1st, 2nd and 4th place in the A-main for the JMRCA Kanto championship held in the Japan Gumma-pref Crest Speedway. CRC’s Generation X was most popular chassis in A main with 3 of 8 drivers choosing the CRC chassis.

In qualifying, Team CRC Japan driver Kunitomo drove his Generation X to winning finishes in all 4 rounds. In rounds 3 and 4, the young CRC driver set new track records with each run. After all 4 founds were complete, Kunitomo took the T.Q. position by almost a FULL lap over the recently crowned World Champion, Team YOKOMO’s Naoto Matsukura.

In the first of multiple A-mains, the 2 young Japanese drivers of Kunitomo and Matsukura developed the quite an intense battle. Pressured by the World Champion Matsukura, Kunitomo drove with confidence and style, dominating the main and leading every lap.

In the second A-main, CRC swept the podium, a 1-2-3 finish with Kunitomo, Ishioka and Nojima finishing 1st, 2nd and 3rd with their CRC Gen-X cars.
